Prior to establishing Labyrinth Garvin was an investment professional on Wall Street, providing direct support to senior investment decision makers at prominent institutions, including investment advisors, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies, and foundations. His former affiliations include Lehman Brothers, Salomon Brothers, S.G. Warburg & Co., and Dean Witter, among others.
Garvin brings to Labyrinth an extensive knowledge of investment practices, products, and markets, both domestic and offshore. A former NYSE Supervisory Analyst, he now applies his analytical skills to his wealth management practice, providing advice and service to private clients in areas including investment, retirement, estate conservation, asset protection and insurance.
Garvin holds a Certificate in Basic Mediation Skills from the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and has completed the Introduction to Collaborative Practice offered by the New York State Alternative Dispute Resolution Association.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Garvin is the father of three grown daughters and now resides in Gladstone, New Jersey. He serves there as Chairman of the Liberty Park Association and is the former Chairman of the Open Space, Recreation, Farmland and Historic Preservation Advisory Committee.
